Meet Dr. Schimpfhauser

Eric Schimpfhauser, DDS

Dr. Eric Schimpfhauser earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery at the State University of New York at Buffalo Dental School before continuing on to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill's General Practice Residency. This comprehensive program provided Dr. Schimpfhauser with invaluable experience working with veterans at both the Durham and Fayetteville Veterans Administrations, along with pediatric patients and those who were medically compromised.

Dr. Schimpfhauser has been in private practice for over a decade, providing high quality dental care to the greater Waxhaw community. He has remained active in continuing education as well, studying at the prestigious Dawson Center for Advanced Dental Study. He has completed 100 continuing education program hours at the University of Buffalo's Department of Esthetic Dentistry and is Invisalign® certified. Locally, Dr. Schimpfhauser is an active member of the South Charlotte Dental Study Club.

When not practicing dentistry, Dr. Schimpfhauser enjoys spending time with his wife and son, fishing, running, traveling, and skiing.
